Press Release Body = Effective December 23rd, 2005 Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic has
purchased current assets of Lectrotherm of Canton, Ohio. Over the last 17 years,
Lectrotherm has developed an excellent reputation in the aftermarket repair and
replacement of melting furnaces and electromagnetic stirring fixtures. In recent
years, Lectrotherm has expanded to provide capital equipment to non-traditional
induction markets.
Effective December 23rd, 2005 Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic has purchased the assets of
Premelt Systems in Canton, Ohio. As a premier supplier to the aluminum wheel
industry, Premelt Systems designs and services integrated metal scrap cleaning and
processing systems worldwide.
Effective January 5, 2006, Foundry Services located in Hemer, Germany has merged its
operation with Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic GmbH. This company has developed a strong
reputation in melting furnace repair throughout continental Europe. Foundry Services
will continue to operate in its present location in Hemer, Germany and expand into
an existing Ajax TOCCO service center in Sinsheim, Germany.
